That thought inspired a higher level of mentoring my mamas. 

As a midwife, I realized that as birth workers we are in a unique position to do more than just support birth.   We support families by intentionally mentoring women into motherhood.

Jenny had a client that was struggling with understanding how to transfer her client out of care. This midwife called me and I helped her troubleshoot the conversation to keep it as smooth as possible. I gave her some tips on how to approach it and it went great!

I had a doula call me about how to best work with her client. I walked her through the steps of mentoring. That facilitated shifting from a hospital birth to a home birth to a birth center birth.

There are midwives and then there is Roxanna. Her level of skill and intimacy with Mama are incredible. If every midwife, doctor. Finally got around to journaling baby Sala's birth. I loved revisiting those memories and writing them. It was such a life changing experience. Healing in more ways then one. Neither did I!!!!!! Which is why the classes will be on Zoom with access to the class recordings to watch at your leisure as often as you wait for a baby!
